A piece of royal history

The ‘People’s Princess’, Princess Diana, was born and raised at Althorp Estate just outside Northampton, which you can visit. Either for a day exploring the grounds, the Althorp Food and Drink Festival or the Literary Festival, for all you literature lovers.

Shoes, shoes, shoes

Northampton is famous for footwear making and has been in the industry since 1920. Northampton Museum & Art Gallery has approximately 12,000 shoes from throughout history. It’s why Northampton Town F.C. are nicknamed The Cobblers!
