Graduate Outcomes Survey

Tell us about your life after graduating from UON

The Graduate Outcomes (GO) survey exists to improve the experience of future students, giving you the chance to support others through their time at university.

The survey asks you to share what you are doing, 15 months after graduation, with the aim of understanding how your career path and experiences have evolved since leaving university. This builds a national picture of student/graduate experience that universities throughout the UK can use to improve and innovate their services.

Here at UON, we love to celebrate the successes of our graduates, no matter how big or small, so hearing what you’ve achieved since graduation is something we really appreciate. We’ll always encourage you to share your story!

Why Should You Participate in the GO Survey?

All responses have the potential to create impact by:

  • Enhancing the reputation of your university and degree
  • Impacting your university league table ranking
  • Influencing Higher Education policy
  • Informing future students of what their career prospects might be
  • Creating an up to date understanding of the graduate journey through both traditional and non-traditional routes

The Graduate Outcomes survey is run by the Higher Education Statistics Agency and is independent from UON and all other universities. You will receive an email from universityofnorthampton@graduateoutcomes.ac.uk with a link to access the survey; receiving the email will depend upon when you completed your course.

  • If you completed your degree in August – October, you will receive your GO Survey email in December – February the following year
  • If you completed your degree in November – January, you will receive your GO Survey email in March – May the following year
  • If you completed your degree in February – April, you will receive your GO Survey email in June – August the following year
  • If you completed your degree in May – July, you will receive your GO Survey email in September – November the following year

The Survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and you do not have to complete it all at once. There are no right or wrong answers to the survey, it is personal to you and your experiences, all you have to do is make sure you answer truthfully based on the information you are given and what is requested of you.
