That’s why every eligible Home fee status student gets a free laptop when they study with us. (Or you can opt for Halls discount or on-campus credit.)

Subscriptions**

Full access to Office365 including Word, Powerpoint and Excel is provided for all University of Northampton students.

Full access to LinkedIn Learning. Thousands of online courses covering a range of professional and academic skills from industry experts, free of charge.

Free Sports and University Societies

You don’t pay to play. All sports and societies at the University of Northampton are free and any kit is also supplied free of charge by the Students’ Union.

Student Discounts: Gym and leisure activities

We partner with Trilogy Leisure, giving you discount at all their Northampton locations.

Funded field trips

Experience the world, on us. Many of our courses at the University of Northampton include a number of trips that’ll help you develop new skills, discover new cultures and explore new ways of thinking. We think that’s really important. So we fund all travel & accommodation costs on any compulsory study trips throughout your university course.

The University of Northampton’s campus opened in 2018 and is built totally around you and how you want to study.

Free Course Resources

All your course books throughout your time as a student are available in our on-campus library, meaning there’s no extra cost to you.

Guaranteed Graduate Internship for University students

Financial Support for students

FAQs

  • How do I choose my perk?

    You will be notified by email with information on how to select your perk. You’ll only be able to do this if you’re a Firm offer holder with us. Once you have selected your perk you will receive an email from us to confirm.

    When will I receive confirmation of the perk I have chosen?

    Once you have followed the steps on the email, as mentioned above, you will receive a confirmation email. If you don’t receive this within 24 hours contact study@northampton.ac.uk and we’ll look into it for you. Be sure to check your junk folder just in case your confirmation email has ended up there.

    Can I change my choice of perk?

    We recommend giving full consideration to each option before notifying us of which perk you’d like to choose. In some circumstances we can amend your choice, contact study@northampton.ac.uk for more information. Once your perk has been issued we cannot change it.

    When can I collect my laptop?

    Once you have enrolled and have your student ID card we can issue your laptop. You can either collect at the same time you enrol or at a later date.

    How do I receive my campus credit and when?

    Campus credit is automatically loaded onto an app that you’ll receive access to after enrolment. This app can be scanned at food outlets on campus (The Exchange, The Ground, The Market and the Waterside Bar and Restaurant) and used for any food and drink except alcohol.

    When will I receive my accommodation discount?

    Your discount will be applied to your rent in two instalments – £250 in the Winter Term (your second halls payment), and £250 in your Spring term (your third halls payment).  If you start your course in April, the same discounts will be applied to your Spring and Summer terms.
