Social Workers and social care professionals deal with some of the most vulnerable people in society. This hugely rewording career offers a variety of roles in the sector, giving you an opportunity to explore different career paths. Our Social Work programme is approved by the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), and upon a completion of your course, you can apply for a registration with the HCPC.
Our programmes can pave the way for you to become a registered Social Worker or a Health & Social Care professional by studying one of our Social Work, Social Care & Community Practice, Applied Social Care or Health & Social Care programmes at a degree level. Designed to develop your knowledge in areas of social work, applied social care and health, you will be taught by academics from a range of backgrounds and work-based experiences.
Our programmes are designed to give you an advanced knowledge of the subject area as well as practical skills needed for the profession in your chosen filed. Throughout your studies you will be supported by a personal academic tutor and a placement tutor.
