Campus Sports

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in sports at the University of Northampton. We offer a variety of sporting services for students, staff, and the public, striving to be the heart of sport in Northampton. Students can also sign up to our partner gym Trilogy Leisure, where there is a swimming pool and a variety of fitness equipment.

Our purpose-built Sports Zone at Waterside Campus houses state-of-the-art facilities, including a full-size FIFA/FA-approved floodlit 3G pitch, three Multi-Use Games Areas (MUGAs), a weatherproof Sports Dome and changing facilities.

Students can also join our free sports clubs which are both recreational and competitive, including our annual varsity event. For our elite athletes, we host four super teams and offer our Elite Athlete Scholarship, with the aims of nurturing sporting talent to compete at the highest level.
